Looks pretty empty . . . I’m unclear; was it thriving before, or was it like now and they hoped for a boom that never happened?
It’s a quaint old time town, that pretty much closes down after each summer season. Back in 2005, there were proposals to develop condos and other developer-centric plans which would have had a detrimental effect on the charm of this special place.
so sad really
