The Bay (and even out in the ocean,) becomes as calm as this a few times a month, – not that often, But when it is, and especially if the temperature is nice, and skies really clear, it’s incredible riding out there. Most times, however, it’s 1 1/2 to 2 foot chop (in the bay) … not fun for an older PWC rider! M π
The bays here are smaller and “open” to the ocean. Like I said, I’ve never seen them calm.
Hilo has a long breaker wall and the water is calmer within it, but still choppy. Boy, if I ever see anything like it here, I’ll be out all day photographing it.
That is very smooth. I’ve never seen the ocean here anywhere that calm.
