3 thoughts on “Venus and the Wooden Gulls – Early Morning

    1. Just a week or two before I took this image, Venus passed what is called inferior conjunction with the sun, meaning moving quickly day by day as seen from Earth as it passed basically between us and the sun. Prior to this, most of the summer, it was an “evening star” seen in the west after sunset. So, to use a phrase frequently found in your posts ..”for thems (or dems) who know,” Venus would appear very quickly as a “brilliant morning star” in early November. And, on one of the first clear morning skies in November (The weather here in the NE has been terrible this year, with fewer clear skies…) there it was, dazzlingly bright. Venus it was, no doubt. M 🙂
