Seven years ago, we visited The American Cemetery overlooking Normandy Beach, France. The memory of that day, and our somber silence, was echoed again today.

I was there 4 years ago. It’s a place that defies you to speak. Truly somber and amazing. We also went to the German cemetery. Just as somber and we can’t forget that sons, fathers, brothers and husbands were also killed om their side.
