Within the invisible digital world we play in, the past three weeks have been frustrating as about 35,000 select archived images appeared to have been lost. As of this morning, however, all have been recovered. 🙂 As promised (in a comment on my last post,) below is the “missing” 1987 capture of the now long gone Swiss Army Knife at the Museum of Contempoary Art, Downtown Los Angeles.
Thanks for viewing and comments are always welcome. Zoom in for a closer view. M 🙂

I’m not seeing the connection to oars on the side.
Are the Swiss known for their sea-faring history?
1. Oars? Maybe that’s why it’s not there anymore, just kinda rowed alway! 2. Sea-faring???? Not likely … Better known for holes in their cheese! But seriously, the name is said to be inspired by it’s characteristic of containing a lot of useful tools within it’s interior, making it handy and useful for an “army.” Swiss Army Knife! So perhaps the artist expanded that concept a bit further with the inclusion of oars! M 🙂
Obviously, prowless seamen.
Cutting edge photography!
